For Presenters
Land Acknowledgement Recommendation
CALM has developed a standard Land Acknowledgement for the entire conference along with a recommended action. We encourage presenters to consider including a land acknowledgement statement at the beginning of their presentation. These acknowledgements may include a statement about where the presenter/presenters are located (https://native-land.ca/) and an action they are taking to support Indigenous communities. CALM would like to share a list of all Indigenous communities recognized and actions taken or recommended by presenters for the 2022 conference: this information can be submitted here.
Native-Land.ca
Native Land is a resource to learn more about Indigenous territories, languages, lands, and ways of life.
